Velcro Companies is honored to announce that Perfetti Van Melle’s Mentos™ Pure Fresh Gum Wallet Packs, which feature a VELCRO® Brand PRESS-LOK® closure system, received a Institute of Packaging Professionals’ 2018 AmeriStar Package Award. A panel of 16 judges from various segments of the packaging industry collaborated to deem the Mentos™ Gum Packs the best solution in the shelf stable foods category.
The IoPP AmeriStar Awards evaluation process scores entries on a number of attributes including packaging innovation, product protection, economics, performance, marketing and environmental impact.
