My, oh my, how 2014 flew by…especially during the month of December! If you somehow missed all the exciting things happening with Velcro Brand, no worries! We put together a “Hack the Holidays” recap–just for you.
In early December, we launched our first-ever “VELCRO® Brand Holiday Hackshop” right in the heart of New York City. Celebrities, out-of-towners, and New Yorkers from all over popped-in and earned free products, created DIY crafts, received complimentary gift wrapping, along with some pretty phenomenal prizes… just to name a few! Across the globe in Europe, the VELCRO® Brand was featured on a telethon that collected money for heart disease research. TV3 Marathon, an annual telethon airing on TV3 in Catalonia, Spain, on December 20th, raised over 8 million Euros for the cause.
Argentona Association of Businesses (Argentona Es Mou), created a beautiful heart made of VELCRO® Brand Knitted loop, and telethon contributors dedicated a message or well-wish after donating.
Last, but certainly not least, the month of December was also an exciting time for our VELCRO® Brand Connectors. Members of this new online DIY community received our awesome Holiday Kit in the mail and for a chance to win a Walmart gift-card, they showed us how they used it…or should we say “hacked it”!Congratulations to the selected winner and VELCRO® Brand Connector, Jessica E. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful hacks!
