Recently, we had the amazing opportunity to attend the 2015 BAU Show, located in Munich, Germany– joining over 230,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors from 41 different countries.
Displaying our largest European booth to date, our main displays consisted of six market segment vitrines, each highlighting the different fastening systems solutions for many application types, including:
- Flooring
- Renewable energy
- Waterproofing membranes
- Building envelope
- Cable Management
- Tools & accessories
Along with our main displays, we introduced our newly launched range for professional DIY VELCRO® Brand Trade Range, while also showing videos of our unique fastening solutions and applications, and videos from our flooring and roofing partners. Booth visitors had quite the time trying out the different strengths of our closures! It’s always amazing (and sometimes humorous!) to see how the highest strength closure can be difficult to open for many.
In addition to many visitors, DESSO Carpets presented in our booth a solution developed together called, QuickFix™. This solution repairs and fixes DESSO carpet tiles by utilizing VELCRO® Brand tape, for a flawless and environmentally friendly, professional finish.
Though this world-class six-day show was full of many different attractions, experiences and interactions, our most favorite parts of the fair were the amazing visitors we had the opportunity of meeting and the quality of industry professionals interested in our innovative solutions.
