It’s never too soon to start planning for the perfect Fourth of July barbecue. This year, ditch the cheesy decorations and go for fun and elegant. With the help of VELCRO® Brand and their perfect Fourth of July themed products, it’s never been easier!
I’ve created three simple projects that go together for the perfect table setting: Mason Jar Centerpieces, Confetti Poppers and Napkin Rings.
MASON JAR CENTERPIECES
What you need:
– Large mason jars
– White spray paint with a matte finish (make sure it works on glass!)
– VELCRO® Brand Patriotic Decor Wrap
– Flowers
1. Spray paint all your mason jars white. Let dry for a few minutes then do another coat.
2. Use one loop of Velcro Brand Patriotic Décor Wrap around the top of the jar.
3. Create a bow using Velcro Brand Patriotic Roll. To do this make one small loop, one medium and one large then fasten together with another piece of Velcro.
4. Fasten the bow to the top of the jar.
5. Fill with flowers of your choice!
CONFETTI POPPERS
What you need:
– Treat pops
– Confetti (store bought or home made)
– Double sided tape
– Crepe paper
– VELCRO® Brand Patriotic Decor Wrap
– Metallic Sharpie
1. Fill treat pops with confetti.
2. Cover top of treat pop with a piece of crepe paper using double sided tape.
3. Cover the rest of the treat pop with crepe paper.
4. Use two pieces of VELCRO® Brand Decor Wrap around the top and bottom of the treat pop.
5. Decorate with a metallic sharpie.
NAPKIN RINGS
What you need:
– Napkins
– VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® Patriotic Ties
1. Roll your napkin up.
2. Secure with VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® Patriotic Ties.
Now use everything you just made to set a beautiful table and you’re done!
