VELCRO® Brand Kitchen & Bath Mounting Tape – Care and Application Instructions

You can use VELCRO® Brand Kitchen & Bath Ovals on most smooth indoor surfaces, including plastic.

Instructions:

Clean and dry the surface before application.
Peel the tape from the fastener and press it firmly into place.
The heavy-duty adhesive reaches maximum strength after 24 hours.

Note: It is not recommended for fabrics, dashboards, flexible vinyl or underwater use. Continued exposure to full sunlight can damage the fastener.

How do I remove VELCRO® Brand Kitchen & Bath Mounting Tape?

1. Warm the tape (hook or loop side) with a hair dryer (don’t use a heat gun).
2. Peel off the tape (hook or loop); the adhesive will stay on the surface.
3. Warm the adhesive again with the hair dryer (no heat gun), then peel off a piece and roll it into a ball.
4. Cool the adhesive with ice in a plastic bag (it just takes a few moments).
5. Stick the ball on the adhesive on your surface and pull it off.
6. Repeat step 5 until the adhesive is completely removed (this may take some time).

If any residue remains, use a commercial remover such as Goo Gone, acetone, WD-40, mineral spirits or citrus.
